Creative Cutting with Aveda's Marta Murray.  Marta is a rock star cutting educator and we had a blast with her at the salon.  In the morning she cut 2 models.  After lunch we kicked it old school - all the way back to beauty school, in fact, and cut 2 different looks on mannequins.

Next up, a razor cut.  We didn't get as many good shots of this cut, but you get the idea.  It was fantastic!

Marta is so simultaneously hardcore and deft that she doesn't even need a mannequin stand! ;)

A few collages from past classes in October and November 2010.  We got our friends Kim and Michelle from Perimeters salon in Maple Ridge in on the fun.   The instructor was Kristi Petrillo from Washington.  One class was on bobs, the next was layering.  All about refining technique!  We had a great time with Kristi, and we had some great models (some with challenging heads of hair, all the better for class!)
